Module One

Hello my name is Franklin Rhushenge I'm a student of digital skills at CTA. Today I would like to share with you my strength and my weaknesses from the modules we have covered specifically module 1 

In module 1 there are three units which are:

1. Basics of computer
2. Basics of an internet - enabled Mobil devices
3. Introduction to internet

1.In unit one which is basics of computer I have been able to know the following:

• What is a computer and  it's primary tasks
• Starting and shutting down a computer safely
• Different components and accessories of a computer
• Basics of operating system 
• Features of word processing software
• creating and editing documents using word
• Features of power point or presentation software
•  creating and editing documents using power point.

2.Things that I can do in unit one but I'm not really confident in is:

• Spread sheet
• I still need more help there.

In Unit two which is basics of internet - enabled Mobil devices I have been able to know the following:

• Mobil devices
•  difference between Mobil network internet and WiFi internet
• I can connect mobile devices to internet using either Mobil network internet or WiFi internet
• I can download Apps using either website or Play store app
• I know the main categories of apps
• Key features of smart phones and tablets 
• I understand different settings of different mobile devices
• I understand the security and privacy settings on different mobile devices

In the last unit which is introduction to internet I have been able to know the following:

• The difference between mobile internet and computer internet
• I can find a browser and go to the website
• I can create email account
• I can create any chat account
• I can create any social media account
• I can do searches online 
• That's the end of module one.
